In the B-500 series, the two worlds of infinity-corrected and 160 mm microscopes find the way to meet each other. With an exclusive optical system (InfiniFiX(TM) - IFX) the B-500 series uses a true infinity-corrected optical path, implemented with standard 160 mm objectives.
OPTICAL SYSTEM & OBJECTIVES
The B-500 microscopes are equipped with plan or semiplan objectives (4x, 10x, 40x, 100x bright field), for crisp and vibrant image quality.

MICROSCOPE STAND
The modern stand design, with accessible and ergonomic controls, complements and enhances the instrument’s usability.
HEAD
The ample 22 mm field of view and the high-point eyepieces allows for hours of use without eye fatigue.
ILLUMINATOR
The B-500 microscopes are equipped with a high-efficiency dichroic 20W illuminator, that leaves ample room for lightintensive applications, such as phase contrast or dark field, without the need for complex active cooling.
CONDENSER
The fully accessible and centrable Köhler layout allows to adjust all the optical parameters of the illumination system, for the best balance between contrast, resolution an depth of focus.
SPECIMENT STAGE
A generously sized double layer stage, with room for two specimen slides, optimally completes the instrument.
